Just at thought… Would be really cool how folks are connecting their flows with
events
using
@trigger @trigger_on_finish
for example in Miro frames or something. Currently doing it to have a “visual” documentation of the code for non-techs 🥸

v
you mean a visualization of connected flows or what do you have in mind?
w
Yeap, like a visualization of your connected Dags. I’d know how the entire system is working with one picture I’m doing now on Miro to structure my head
v
totally! Maybe a bit like this viz that shows a bunch of interconnected flows at Netflix

I know a number of folks have produced visualizations like this for their own use cases based on the metadata that's collected by Metaflow, but it takes some effort to pull everything together we should make it easier!

OOh beautiful! just like that I think Meataflow is king in “zoom in” capabilities https://docs.metaflow.org/metaflow/client if we could “zoom out” and and see how the business logic is placed in flows would be super interesting for many use cases: • developers: Documentation, • leadership: high level understanding
v
I pink heart that framing - zoom in vs. zoom out!
