Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Pushkar Kulkarni, a CS student from India preparing for GSoC 2026. I've been contributing to open source for a while now — I have active PRs in ICU4X (Unicode/Rust), PyMC (Bayesian modeling in Python) and Chunky Monkey (A Blind assistance software) , and I'm building a deeper understanding of ML infrastructure tooling. I came across Metaflow's GSoC ideas page and I'm genuinely excited — especially by the Metadata Service Request Improvements and Agent-Friendly Metaflow Client projects. The inefficiencies in the Client API for programmatic/agentic use cases are something I've been thinking about a lot, since I'm currently building automation pipelines that do exactly that kind of run inspection and failure analysis. I've already set up Metaflow locally and started reading through the metaflow-service codebase. Looking forward to making some contributions before proposals open! Is there a good first issue or area you'd recommend I dig into? Happy to work in the open. 🙏
